With the arrival of the year 2024, the commencement of Innovation Bonus (Innobonos) is soon expected as part of the ERDF Operational Programme for the Canary Islands 2021-2027.
Who will be eligible for Innobonos 2024, and which technology areas will it cover?
The Government of the Canary Islands is once again preparing for a new round of Innobonos, digitalization grants benefiting businesses, SMEs, and self-employed individuals operating across the seven islands of the Canary Islands. Similar to previous opportunities, Canary Islands entrepreneurs will have the chance to apply for these grants, covering up to 70% of projects aimed at streamlining their business processes and enhancing their technological environment, with a maximum grant amount of 20,000 euros. Additional details expected to be included in the announcement involve compatibility with other aids, such as the Digital Kit 2024, and the consideration of new criteria, including gender equality. Although the eligible areas for this year have not been detailed yet, it is possible that they may include the following:

🌟 Applications, Systems, and Services for Business Management.
🌟 Development of the Company's Online Strategy.
🌟 Incorporation of Innovative ICT Technologies into the Company.
